The Scriptures admonish parents to "bring up your children in the training and instruction of the Lord."
As a parent you have the responsibility to teach your children the ways of God. Throughout Scripture, from the old to the new, God tells us this. His desire is to see parents living God-honoring lives that instill the same sense of honoring God in the lives of your children. Knowing that when parents honor God with their lives, students will honor God with theirs, the aim of the Student Ministry is to equip, empower and pray for parents to fulfill their God-given mission.
We want to be your resource for raising Godly students in today's generation. So we've built this part of the website around you, providing you with ways to connect, learn, and grow, and do what you do with more precision for His glory.
Following Him
The Parent Advisory Board is our answer to the PTA. The Parent Advisory Board's purpose is to:
- Develop ways for parents and the Student Ministry to partner.
- Provide advice to the Student Ministry from a parent's perspective.
- Develop parent leaders who will encourage and develop other parents.
- Unite in prayer for the Student Ministry staff, students and parents.
The board is composed of a few parents that are involved to give their opinions and offer their time to fulfilling the mission of the Parent Advisory Board. We meet officially once a quarter to evaluate and plan. We will renew the board membership with every school year, and membership is by application only.
